Cutting-edge cement carrier coming to Great Lakes next year
A cutting-edge, high-efficiency cement carrier will make its way to the Great Lakes next year, says Eureka Shipping. Eureka Shipping, with offices in Cyprus and Norway, is jointly owned by Montreal-based CSL Group (Canada Steamship Lines) and SMT Shipping, which has offices across the world. In a release, the company said the state-of-the-art mechanical/pneumatic cement ship, with a deadweight of 12,500 tons, is designed to replace two older vessels while maintaining the same cargo capacity.
